Participating in esports helps students develop the same skills as other sports: teamwork, communication, problem solving, strategy development, coordination, and creative thinking. Esports maximizes the benefits of scholastic gaming and engages the students during the school day. Students also learn college and career readiness skills, while developing a sense of community and motivation among students.
