Magee participates in the Tucson Korea Ambassador Program (TKAP), where students from South Korea are hosted by families in our community for over 3 weeks. They get to experience the local culture by going on field trips to various locations, including the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, Tombstone and Old Tucson Studios. In the summer, some of our students travel to South Korea to stay with host families there and experience Korean culture.

Every year at Magee, students and staff vote on a theme for the library. Last year, we celebrated all things spooky with "Old Hollywood Horror and Scary Stories." This year, we are celebrating "The Happiest Anniversaries on Earth" with Disneyland celebrating 70 years and Magee celebrating 63 years. Our tag line is "You are the Magic," because our students and staff bring the magic to our campus.

Anyone who comes into the library is met with imagination and worlds of adventure through the pages of our over 14,000 books waiting for someone to unlock the magic.
